About me

Sandra Gebhardt-Hoepfner is an experienced artist from Hamburg who sells and exhibits her work internationally. Her paintings have been exhibited nationally and internationally, including at World Art Dubai in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in Dornbirn, Austria, and several times in Hamburg on the Museum Ship Rickmer Rickmers in the Port of Hamburg. She has been published in International Artist Magazine 11/2023 under ‘Master Painter Of The World’, amongst others.

Sandra was born and raised in Rendsburg, Schleswig-Holstein, in 1970. She has lived with her family in Hamburg since 1996. She is driven by her passion to capture the light in nature on canvas forever. Over the years, the artist has taken lessons from various well-known artists. She loves everything that involves water, water lilies, flowers and nature, which provide a foundation of calm and strength for the viewer. Her paintings invite viewers into the magic of nature, moving between reality and what the artist sees and feels. The artist finds inspiration on walks through nature, including at her second home on Lake Witten in Schleswig-Holstein. She captures her motifs with her camera and then paints them in her studio there or in Hamburg using oil or acrylic paint on canvas with brushes and palette knives.

Sandra also teaches art at the Kunstfabrik Hannover and runs the art studio for the Society for Gifted Children in St. Peter-Ording for Junior Academy 2025 + Christianslyst 2026.

Art Prize 2025 | 3rd Winner: Contest Nature with the painting “Summer In Bloom 3” | Progressus Art Awards Schwitzerland.

Her works can be found in private collections worldwide, including in Europe, the USA, Australia, Japan, India, England and Canada.

Reviews

First original painting we’ve ever bought and we just LOVE it. Better in real life than the photo.

Beautiful painting, thank you!

Our water lilies painting is gorgeous! The use of color and light is spectacular. The painting is a unique representation of water lilies that draws in the eye and we love to admire it as it enriches the decor in our bedroom. The artist is wonderfully talented and communicated well. The shipping was quick and the packaging was intense and well done. A perfect transaction.

I am so happy with my new addition and the packaging was immaculately done! I love the emergence of spring imagery and the use of color. I simply adore your work. As with the pond lilies I am considering a partnering piece. I am very blessed to have your art and gift to the world in my home. Thank you!

The painting arrived this evening and in perfect shape. It’s beautiful! Thank you so much! I’ve attached a couple of pics to let you see it’s in great shape and where I’ve placed it. Thank you again. I’ll keep my eye open for your other work in the future. It was a pleasurable experience!
